I have been involved with real estate and investments in one form or another since the early 80's. Back then, I was a loan officer and investment adviser for a local bank. In case you don't remember, in the early 80's the Prime Lending Rate fluctuated around 20%, the Dow Jones was under 800 and the average home price was just over $47,000. My how times have changed! Being in banking for almost 20 years gave me a wonderful understanding of our financial and economic world. Holding several Investment Series Licenses, I have a strong appreciation for your investment portfolio and the role that real estate plays in it. And because I spent years in lending and credit counseling, I can also help you navigate through the mortgage loan process along side my very knowledgeable mortgage partners.
During the 90's while operating a family-owned wholesale brokerage company, I began my own rental property portfolio and handled the General Contractor duties for my primary residence. I developed the architectural design and later several additions. As a Real Estate Investor myself, I have done a variety of property renovations, "fix and flips”, "buy and holds”, wholesales, and even some interior design and landscape design. Yes, I will swing a hammer, climb a ladder, crawl under a house and I've been told I get more paint on myself than on the walls…. but the point is, I will do whatever it takes to get the job done.
