Description

In 2012 I was facing obesity and health risks. I started changing my diet a little at a time and adding small amounts of activity to my daily routine. Before I knew it, I was on a plant based diet and burning 3,000 calories a day. I lost 20 lbs the first year, and a little more in the following years. I now weigh 70lbs less and I'm enjoying life. In 2016 I had an opportunity to follow my dream to open a restaurant. I couldn't open the typical fries and burger shop and keep a good conscience. I needed a place that I know would be good for me and make me feel great. I had a feeling that I wasn't alone. I noticed there's nothing like this within miles of Petersburg. I met with some other locals in the area and they jumped at the opportunity to help. The idea was to do something positive for the city. We have unique archetecture, up and coming artists, plenty of talented musicians, and skilled farmers in the area. I guess you can say that I'm really into the Local Vibe of Petersburg.
