The Rocktown Rollers have just secured their
apprenticeship to the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) and have
accepted the challenge to play the Poe's Punishers of RCR who are ranked 16th
in the Eastern Region by WFTDA.



Can this up and coming league handle our ladies in
purple? Come out and cheer on 2 great Virginia teams as they play some hard
hitting, full contact, 100% real, all female flat track roller derby.  The
River City Rollergirls are a 501c3 federal nonprofit organization, supporting
great charities like the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance
and many others. Come check out these tough girls with a heart, Saturday, Sept
18.



This event is family friendly and a children's area
is available for fun activities.

Tickets are $10, $6 for children 7-12, children 6

This bout is dedicated to the memory of Kitten
Vicious of the Rocktown Rollers who recently passed away, and will be greatly
missed by the roller derby community. While we may be rivals on the track, we
are all sisters in derby.
